We were travelling through the vast prairie grasslands of southern Saskatchewan when we came across this pronghorn buck. He moved with quiet intention—pausing here and there to graze, always alert to the land around him.

The soft light of the late day caught on the golden grasses, wrapping the scene in warmth. His coat, just beginning to shed, mirrored the textured layers of the field.
