Early Morning Graze – Banff, Alberta

Captured in the quiet stillness of an early spring morning, this photograph brings us to the edge of a forest lane near Banff, Alberta — a place where patience is often rewarded with presence. Hoping to catch a glimpse of local wildlife, we rose with the sun and waited along the tree line. Soon, as if by invitation, this deer emerged from the underbrush.

Its velvet-covered antlers still in the early stages of growth, the deer moved slowly and with calm purpose, grazing among the fresh greenery.
