On Guard for Thee

At sunrise, the red cliffs of Cape Alright stand boldly against the soft hues of dawn, with the lighthouse keeping quiet watch over the Gulf. We arrived in darkness, drawn by the promise of morning light and the hope of capturing something special. After scouting the cliffs, we settled on this view—just in time. As the sky lit up, the moment was beautiful, even if the mosquitoes were merciless. The sting fades; the image endures.
