Creeping Bell Flower
100mm f/11 1/160s ISO 200 3:4
Campanulas are wanderers.
Though Evelyn first planted them in a chosen corner of her garden, over the years they’ve drifted—naturally migrating to new spots where they now thrive with quiet determination.
This elegant botanical portrait captures Campanula Alba, the white variety of the beloved bellflower. Showcased in full bloom, the plant’s slender vertical stems and delicate, bell-shaped blossoms stand out in graceful simplicity. Pristine white petals glow against a deep black background, emphasizing their soft textures and subtle curves. Pale yellow stamens offer a gentle accent at the heart of each flower, while unopened buds hint at growth still to come. Thoughtfully lit and composed, the image highlights the purity of this species.
